The Top Games to Buy this May
I don't know about you, but this May is bringing a lot of things to the shelves that I've been wanting to play for some time, and, due to this article, a few things I didn't know about previously are also catching my interest.
So, let us begin:
Alan Wake (360):

Alan Wake. A title that has been anticipated for some time, that seemed to have disappeared after having heard nothing about it for so long. It came back and impressed the masses, and is to this day looking like a very interesting and enjoyable title. Deemed as a "psychological thriller", this game is different from Remedy's previous "Max Payne" series. It will definitely bring something to gaming that we have not seen in some time. Alan Wake will unleash hell May 18th, 2010.
3D Dot Game Heroes (PS3):

An odd-looking, but memory bringing and unique title. Published in North America, this game is sure to bring back memories for those that gamed in the Zelda days. With pixilated-HD graphics, this game will without a doubt bring back members of games that were around twenty-plus years ago. According to those that have had a go with the game, they say, in terms of game play, it seems like a modern-day version of "Zelda: Link to the Past". To veteran gamers, such a comparison means that the game will be undoubtedly good. This game is scheduled to be released May 11th.
Split Second (PS3, 360, PC):

One of the few praised racing titles these days, Split Second is said to bring some new elements to the racing genre, something we can't say happens very much. Split Second will be expanding what was originally introduced in Sega's Full Auto series, of which you will be racing through a city in the prime of destruction. Your key weapon in winning your race is this: the city. Split Second will be hitting store shelves on May 18th.
Red Dead Redemption (360, PS3):

Another of the Western-style games, this game is bringing something new. Rather than being set in the times when the "Age of the Cowboy" is at its prime, this game takes play in the early 1900's, when that age is coming to an end. The game will put heavy emphasis on gun fights, train robberies, and duels. Red Dead Redemption will bring the Wild West to life on your console May 18th.
Trauma Team (Wii):

Like many titles releasing this month, Trauma Team will be bringing something new to the Atlus series. No longer is performing surgeries all that is done, but the grand scheme of things is being expanded. You'll play the role of the first responder, of which you will conduct surgeries, and even perform some forensic science. This will bring the medical drama that you find so satisfying in shows such as "House", and even "CSI" to your gaming console. This will be releasing on May 18th.

With the massive success of "Fat Princess" released on PS3 through the Playstation Store, there was bound to be another sooner or later.
