The hype started with this single screenshot above, then a steady stream of information was leaked about the brand new Killzone 3. In an article in Gamerpro, Guerilla Games' revealed their next title in the series, complete with their trademark stunning graphics.

It looks like the story is going to be very 'Inglourious Basterds', completely outnumbered, and "in a place far away from home", i.e, escaping from Helghan. Jetpacks, arctic levels, and full 3D supports have all been confirmed, and hint towards a new weapon called "the Wasp".

The Killzone series is one of my favourites, it's great to see a 3rd title confirmed. Visually, it doesn't get much better than this, expect lots more information very very soon.

Killzone 2 was definitely a very enjoyable game. Once I took the time to sit down and give the campaign a go, I realized how quickly the game was able to addict me.
It is without a doubt that the graphics will be stunning in this game. Killzone 2's were, and I expect Killzone 3's will be even more spectacular.
I'm rather intrigued about the "escaping from the Helghan". I think the change will be great, as, while Killzone 2 was all about going in guns blazing, this game will perhaps have a different approach. Objectives will likely be significantly different in this title considering the goal this time around.

Oh mah lordy I can't wait
If its any were near as good as the other killzones i am happy
