According to gaming magazine EDGE, Microsoft's latest creation, Project Natal for the Xbox 360, will cost $149, which they claim to be from a trusted source. The motion sensing camera will also be bundled with the 360 Arcade Console for $299. Prices in other regions would vary, but at current exchange rates, it puts the standalone unit at £103, and the bundle at £207.
This figure is much more expensive than a previous sub-£50 estimate, but significantly less than a recent European retailer's estimate at £133. Not that Sony's own motion controller, the Move, will be bundled along with a game for less than $100. An October 26th Worldwide launch date has been noted, but according to the source, it could change a couple of days either way.
The system will also definitely not be called 'Natal', with it's real name being revealed at E3, and Microsoft's primary target market, will be casual gamers and families. “Microsoft expects to sell millions and millions of Natal units in its first year on the market so you can expect the software launch line-up to target non-traditional gamers,” said the source. “A major marketing campaign will also play a key role in attracting and educating the expanded audience about Xbox 360’s controller-free revolution.”

i think its all gay if you ask me why do i want to jump around and look like an idiot or wave my arms around like a queer holding 2 dildos in my hand i will take my boring old controller and play my games and if i want a motion controller i will buy a Wii b/c the Wii has something Sony and Microsoft will never have and thats the ability to buy all the old Nes games and 64 games
Natal will be alot better than PS3s Move. Considering the technology put into Natal I can see why it is that much $. But I think it should be no more than $100 since it is not a new console, just an add-on. Plus the games for Natal will probably cost more. Also, this is a whole new feature that has been brought to Video Game Consoles, it is most likely going to be quite glitchy and not completely accurate or precise.
