Earlier today, an image (see above) was released via Twitter from 'UbiWorkshop', showing a very assassin-like figure, standing in front of the Egyptian Pyramids. Not only does he resemble previous characters Altair and Ezio, we can see the Assassin's Creed emblem, 'AC', at the top, along with the trademark eagle, the symbol of each assassin. A second Twitter post also confirmed it had "nothing to do with Brotherhood."
However, when contacted, Ubisoft stated that the image was related to a "non-game related project", whatever that could be. My thought is that they're not ready to let the cat out of the bag quite yet, but then why release this image to the public? It's a strange series of events, let me know what you think Ubisoft are up to. Personally, I think an AC game set in Egypt would be great, I can imagine it all right now.

Wow, I thought it would of been like modern times due to the ending of the second game in the series, if it is in Egypt though, it will be amazing! Think of the buildings you can scale and you might even get to ride on camels o.O
I thought that the other two took place near Israel which is near Egypt so haven't they all been near Egypt? Lol, sorry I don't play much Assassin's Creed.

Number one was Isreal (I think) and number two was italy
This sounds awesome! Although I was convinced it would be in the modern era, I never considering Egypt. Way cooler! Raiding tombs, climbing Pyramids, fighting Mummies , this game should shape up to be the best yet.
