Earlier today, an image (see above) was released via Twitter from 'UbiWorkshop', showing a very assassin-like figure, standing in front of the Egyptian Pyramids. Not only does he resemble previous characters Altair and Ezio, we can see the Assassin's Creed emblem, 'AC', at the top, along with the trademark eagle, the symbol of each assassin. A second Twitter post also confirmed it had "nothing to do with Brotherhood."

However, when contacted, Ubisoft stated that the image was related to a "non-game related project", whatever that could be. My thought is that they're not ready to let the cat out of the bag quite yet, but then why release this image to the public? It's a strange series of events, let me know what you think Ubisoft are up to. Personally, I think an AC game set in Egypt would be great, I can imagine it all right now.

Well you never know i guess...travel might be a little slow considering the fact we are in the middle of the desert...we could have this cool hiding skill that lets us pull a camo blanket thing over us when we are on the sand dunes and stuff might be cool Happy but yeah not much to do other than climb pyrimads and tomb raid and stuff maybe adopt a Camel or something Lol

if you actually read his post they said it has nothing to do with Brotherhood which Assassins Creed 3 and Assassins creed 3 is set if Rome. as you still use Ezio. I don't know whether it is for a new Assassins creed title or an extension to AC3.

Brotherhood is a multiplayer game but NOT AC3.

This sounds awesome! Although I was convinced it would be in the modern era, I never considering Egypt. Way cooler! Raiding tombs, climbing Pyramids, fighting Mummies Happy, this game should shape up to be the best yet.

Well Desmond is still out there so there's the chance we get to play in both the past and the future.

Number one was Isreal (I think) and number two was italy

Altair was Syrian and the game took part in several areas. Israel wasn't a country until recently anyway.

I still haven't got into Assassins Creed, I'm debating on it though, because you can get #2 for like 25 bucks right now.
