Yes, you heard right! Today, during Microsoft's huge audience giveaway, they announced that the current Xbox 360 model is being discontinued. It will be replaced by the new model of the Xbox 360 completely, once the current stock runs out. So, if you'd like to be one of the last people to get your hands on an older model of the Xbox 360 for a lower price, this is probably your best bet.

Now, enjoy the photo gallery of the new model below:

While I already own an Xbox 360, and therefore will not be purchasing this new model, this is without a doubt a great looking console. By the looks of it, it has been improved in terms of both appearance and functionality.

What are your thoughts on this?

I'm getting one of these once I get a job. Get rid of my current xbox that got red rings, but is still working! Probably will get red rings again eventually though. =/

mine has gotten rrod twice and the drive jams sometimes but still works... the only reason i would buy another one is to have one for backed up games

My drive does that too! When you close it with no disk inside the drive it takes 5 mins to get the damn thing open?

This will probably be good to get too because in the video I saw it had vents half way up the side of the console on both sides and it's stripes and not those little holes that just fill up with dust and dirt.
