Yes, you heard right! Today, during Microsoft's huge audience giveaway, they announced that the current Xbox 360 model is being discontinued. It will be replaced by the new model of the Xbox 360 completely, once the current stock runs out. So, if you'd like to be one of the last people to get your hands on an older model of the Xbox 360 for a lower price, this is probably your best bet.

While I already own an Xbox 360, and therefore will not be purchasing this new model, this is without a doubt a great looking console. By the looks of it, it has been improved in terms of both appearance and functionality.

What are your thoughts on this?

That looks better than the ones already available. Best design so for in my opinion. So what happens when the currents Xbox gets red ringed being repair? Will we get one of those or do you think they will have a back log of fixed ones to send out? Man, I want one, but I'm not paying for one...yet.
