Ok, so as on the last 360, each unit came with a warning sticker asking you not to move the console while the disc is spinning inside. Luckily, most of the time, no damage was done if you did, however with the new 360 S, it's a different story. As seen in the video above, the console completely munches on the disc, creating a giant scratch and a nasty sounding noise, and basically ruins the disc. So in conclusion, whatever you do with your new 360 S, do not move it around when you're playing a game, or prepare to never play your game again.

This is being picky to be honest you would get this problem with any console if you moved it around. Also who moves the console around when there playing a game anyway.

To and fro the island.
I don't see why everyone is making this seem like a major issue. No one really should be moving their console while gaming to begin with, as there really is no point to doing so. Also, Microsoft clearly states that you are not to move your console while playing a game.

This really isn't an issue at all, seeing as to how it it acknowledged by Microsoft completely and warned upon the release of the console. If you want to move your console, just move it before or after playing a game. It's simple, really.

Ok I have moved my ps3 with disk in and nothing has happened yet.
But I am pretty sure its not a good idea to mess around with any console
with a disk in.

Yes microsoft could done something different to help keep your disk safe,
But it stilll boils down to this don't play with your console when playing a game.

It's because there are so many things wrong with the 360 when compared to the PS3.

This is something small people shouldn't be trying to start a console war about though (a console war shouldn't start period). No one should be spinning their xbox, or any console for that matter, around like a ****ing baton when its turned on anyways. PS3s and Xboxs both break, and yes Xbox does have a much higher failure rate due to Microsoft screwing up with their hardware, but I doubt this new Xbox will have one fourth as many problems with that issue. So what problems are left?

Also I think Microsoft deserves a bit of a break, Sony has had about 7 more years of experience than Microsoft.
