To add on to the buzz coming from E3, Sony unveiled the You must login or register to view this content., which is the first of many of Sony’s new PS2 Collections. Instead of making newer models of the Playstation 3 backwards compatible, Sony plans on releasing PS2 Collections of games with improved qualities. With the Sly Cooper Collection, Sony has made plans to include 3D integration, meaning 3D is a possibility for other PS2 games coming back in the near future.



Because of the positive feedback from PS3 community from the You must login or register to view this content. released last year, Sony plans on plenty of these new HD PS2 games being released in the near future. While many gamers would rather have all the PS3 models support backwards compatibility, this is surely a welcomed alternative. So, for those of you without the ability to play PS2 games on your PS3... sit tight; collections are on the way.

If you could have any game made into a collection for the PS3, what would it be? Personally, I'd like to see all the 007 Games.

I mean, PS2 is current gen, it's like to soon to sell PS2 games as classics.

I hope they redo gta san andreas

A Ratchet And Clank collection would be made of win. A Final Fantasy collection would take multiple discs to fit their amazing graphics onto, even if it is Blu-Ray.

Jak would be good aswell, and watch as microsoft get into this soon.... they have stolen a few ideas off Sony already...
