<font face="verdana" color="black"> It's no secret that when Kinect Launches an Xbox 360 update will launch alongside it. However, hackers have had a look at a beta menu of Microsoft's. It appears that they've added a function that will allow them to view the current software version of Xbox's. This is potentially disastrous news for JTAGgers since they will use custom firmware. This will be detected and they will be promptly banned. It's an anti-piracy measure that from Microsoft's point of view, would be perfect.

What are your opinions of this? Personally, I think jtaggers will find a way round and I'm sure you can find a way to keep the old dashboard.

That why ps3 better, i don't see why people like xbox360 more even though you have to pay to go online.

Jtaggers have bypassed the current security systems to prevent modding. this will just be a minor speed bump.
