Move vs. Wii vs. Kinect?

The Sony Media Holiday Preview Event in NYC was held to show off the up and coming PS Move first hand and the entertainment giant had a lot to say. Sony shared some interesting points with the world including a comprehensive comparison chart that ought to have gamers more educated about what they are buying this holiday season. Some of the main points you will find interesting in this chart may jump out at you as information you may already know such as the lack for the Kinect to support rechargeable batteries, feedback, buttons, and wireless connection to the console, however some of the comparisons between the Kinect, Nintendo Wii, and PlayStation Move being made by Sony may surprise you; take a look for yourself by clicking and zoom in by clicking it. This gives a great indication for what to suspect and you can make your own decision to what you prefer.

Gotta be move dont like xbox and wii kinda blows.

PS Move i am buying. This info shows kinect has nothing better than the ps move i.e recognition also buttons help for shooting games KZ3 S4 etc Kinect has already been done in a sense its a upgraded eyetoy. basically it just a slight better than the eye. So far the PS Move has looked like it has no lag etc and i believe it will provale

Nintendo is really going to have a hard time recovering from this one. A lot of people are saying that Sony and Microsoft are "copying" Nintendo by bringing motion control to their consoles. However, based on the chart posted by Winty, that's not exactly the correct word to descrive what Sony and Microsoft have done.

They have taken something originally innovational from Nintendo, and have improved upon it entirely. Now of course, I'm sure there might be some categories where the "Wii-Mote" exceeds the Move and Kinect, but at the end of the day it really seems evident that Sony and Microsoft have now dominated the one market Nintendo has relied upon.

I can't wait to get my hands on the Move and Kinect, but I'm also interested to see how Nintendo will retaliate. Maybe they won't do anything, but if they're a smart business I'm sure they will try and come up with something to help the Wii have some stance in an already lost console war.

Wii is gonna have to do something to recover from this. I prefer some of the games on Wii over Playstation and Xbox. Such as Mario, Pokemon, ect.

I like wii cuz move and kinect are just a console within a console as the wii is just a wii and not technical bullshit
