On the date of August 31st (approx), Infinitec will ship their 'Infinite USB Memory Drive'. This drive will allow infinite storage space for your console (as long as you've got the other space somewhere else). You connect a USB to your Playstation or Xbox and you can save information on your computer via the USB or to an external storage device, again by the USB. Perhaps the most exciting thing about this device is that it allows you to access your computer from your PS3/Xbox. While the degree of this access is unknown, this sounds like it could be a possible SATA Cable replacement.

To connect to your PC from your Console, the USB drive uses Wi-Fi on a separate wireless network. Perhaps you're thinking 'but if I'm on a special wireless network then how am I going to browse the web and/or play online at the same time?': the USB will allow you to connect to two different Wi-Fi networks on each system, allowing you to play online, access the web and simultaneously stream data between both your console and your PC. Infinitec tell us that you will also be able to stream content from your PC to play on your Console's connected TV and/or sound system. It's possible that these features are available to use the other way round as well (i.e. Stream your Console's audio to your PC and play it through your PC's speakers. In any case, this certainly is an exciting innovation and this USB is available for preorder from Infinitec's site for $130.

zetabyte is like 99999999999 terabyte, think so

It just allows you to access data on your PC hard drive it's not really infinite and it's some gay ass shit you can do all that without the flash drive Facepalm

It might be useful in the future like if you don't want movies on your ps3 you can put them on your computer or vice versa.

let me guess $130 for each piece of infitnity usb stick. Where if u just buy a couple of hard drives, lets say 10. 10 x $130 = Ya right. I rather just stick with a 500gb or 1tb hard drive for my ps3.

I know gamers who have mountains of games (literally) and they got a 500GB for there PS3/360 and they still have lots of space and dont have to worry.
What if im using both the USB slots?
Kind of a waste of time, Getting a 500gb/1tb harddrive would make more sense, Plus it just stores on your PC from what i understand.

Are you high?
looks pretty good and is a great idea =D but not worth $130, i would just back it all up on an external hard drive or just copy the files to my computer via a normal usb Winky Winky

Thats pretty cool but is it worth the money when you can get a 500gb hard drive from amazon for like £30
