Being released this fall, Microsoft plan to release a new re-designed Xbox 360 wireless controller that also features a transforming d-pad along with different colour buttons.

The new d-pad provides “Ultimate accuracy and control for both directional and sweeping movements.”

I Don't have an xbox but if i did, i would definitely not get the new controller until it got much cheaper. Plus I really don't see the big difference, you either have good accuracy or bad accuracy. A controller can't change that.
