Call Of Duty:Black Ops will be close monitored very closely this year when released. The leaderboard's on Black Ops will be kept an eye on and will not be destroyed like the 'Modern Warfare 2' leaderboards. The modern warfare 2 leaderboards was filled with thousands up on thousands of 'hackers' and ruined the whole game on both consoles. On Black Ops if you are caught hacking the leaderboards you will be banned promptly.

Yes, we have the necessary tools in #CODBlackOps to moderate the leaderboards. Furthermore, we'll ban those who hack.
Josh Olin has stated there will be clean leaderboards, so keep your eyes peeled for a clean leaderboard.

Hopefully they can do a good job with monitoring the leaderboards. Most likely it will fail. It will get flooded with hackers and the monitoring will fail.

I think we will finally see some legit players 
But you know no matter what...there will still be hacks.
No matter how much they say "It won't happen" it still will.
Hackers aren't done yet. I give Black Ops six months before hacks start popping around on the internet. 6 months for aimbot...6 months for challenge lobbies, well in this case Money lobbies cause everything is purchased with money now.
Anyone want to bet some dates on when BO will be hacked?
