This thread outlines how Phil Harrison, former president of Sony Worldwide Studios believes our next generation of gaming will be straight from our web browsers.
According to Phil Harrison, former president of Sony Worldwide Studios the battle for dominance in games will not take place with consoles but instead on the web browser but would this really be the best for gaming?

could this really be coming? HD and 3D Gaming from our browser? I am not convinced at the moment as this would require a very good computers to run games such as these at the best of there capability, something that is not available to everyone.

Although he thinks this may be the next generation of gaming i do not believe that it will be alone as Microsoft and Sony will continue to develop there consoles, along with Nintendo and the new Onlive console coming soon.
