(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Really though. I see Camaros from just about all the good years they made them. Corvettes are covered from C1 to C6.

The Mustang is an iconic race car! There are a lot of generations that are available. They could have added 2 body styles in general.

1. The 1969... Probably the sexiest 60s Mustang they made. There was a 400 HP motor that was offered that year as well.

2. The Foxbody. 1979-1993. Specifically the 1987-1993 specimens. This is probably one of the most iconic American Sports cars of the early 90s

I own a 1987 5.0 GT Convertible. Fun car, very fast, even in turns.

Anyone else wondering where their 5.0s and 60s Mustangs are?

Calsonic Skyline = Bitch Slap any USA & EURO SuperCars
FALKEN = Owned Nurb
R32 = GODZILLA! Bitch Slap all Supercars and still does in 2011
Any NISMO = Performance enginering

I absolutely agree with you, not just that I am a SKYLINE fan but also the fact that it has the best modifiable engine in my point of view.

And about GT5 not having a good Mustang, check the dealership in Grand Touring Garage Winky Winky I bought it and never used it, just because of its look and its power. Thats what I call american muscle Smile.

I have all the Mustangs in GT5, yes, the Trans Cammer is nice, but it is like a NASCAR.

The 5.0 is VERY modifiable, and inexpensive to do so. Naturally aspirated, I have seen 500HP, and it was street legal (passed ASM tailpipe emissions testing) That is a lot of HP. Getting a 4 or 6 cylinder engine to do that requires forced induction, period. Just imagine if that guy put turbos, or a blower on that 500 HP, it would be 700+

There is no Replacement for Displacement.

Do a barrel roll!
Really the only reason skylines are expensive is because in Canada and US we have to import them. I had an R32 GTR about 2 years ago. It was a beast, but I remember when I went to Japan they were just as cheap as any other car there. In fact the cars that are domestic tot he US are quite expensive over there for some models like the 83-92 camaros and firebirds. I own a firebird and paid 1500 for it here. Over there you have to pay upwards of 13k USD for one of those suckers.

I think it is funny the way auto makers in japan were once only exporting cars (limited too) then they start making them in the USA (any Japanese car with a 1,4 or 5 as the first number, or letter in the VIN is made in USA) now they make Hondas in Mexico (3 as the first letter or number in the VIN) My favorite of all time though is the 2005 Honda Civic Si, and the Honda CR-V. The cars are made in UK, the shipped to the USA. So that means parts are made in Japan, shipped to UK, assembled, and sent to USA. Kind of defeats the purpose of outsourcing your production to save on shipping costs I would think.

The new Camaros are made in Canada Winky Winky The old ones were made there to for model year 1989 and up till 2002 as well.

Back on topic, Maybe we can hope that PD can hook it up with some nice Premium American cars!

It is a japanese game, so of course they would focus on japanese cars. as much as i dislike mustangs, I could agree fully that more should've been in the game. I raced against a taurus SHO in the game. I could easily say lose that one, the subaru 360, the ancient VWs, and all the diahatsus

Another good Ford joke:

FORD...They circle the problem on the grille...

Another Mustang that they perhaps should have considered is the 1986 SVO. If you know your Stang' history, this car was WAY ahead of it's time. It was a turbo charged, intercooled 2.3L I-4 engine that put out a nice 205 HP, which was more than the 5.0 at 200. It also was a factory built race car. It had 4 wheel disc, with heavy duty brake booster, fully adjustable Konig suspension. Was the first SVT Mustang made.

Just think of what you could do with that car today? The hood of my mustang (87 GT 5.0) came from another 91 coupe, that had a way beefed up 2.3 SVO engine, with an almost 20 atomospheres of boost. Car had a 9.3 second track slip. I almost pooped my pants when he showed me the car. The turbo is gigantic, and he had to get rid of his stock hood for a giant cowl hood. Not street legal though :(
