Could Mw2 have been a "silent rebellion" from Infinity Ward this whole time? Think about it for a second.

Everyone knows Mw2 is a really unbalanced game. Overpowered grenade launchers, boosting, and tactical insertions, UMP 45, certain killstreaks. I can go on and on but lets end the list there. But it's not just the multiplayer that's messed up.

The story plot also leaves a lot of questions.

There's just too many flaws. Could IW have done this all on purpose to rebel Activision, or does that sound too far fetched? Comment below.

That's crazy. Honestly Melo, there's really no need to use gaming websites for opinion pieces like this - otherwise all you really are doing is changing a few words around.

Back to the point, that's such a silly suggestion as it wasn't a crap game. It got 9 out of 10 on IGN (if not higher, not sure) for a reason; it's an excellent game - just wasn't made for the 'hardcore' player, it was made so that new players to the game can jump on and do well.

Most people who bought the game thought it was brilliant, I know this because I've spoke to the countless amount of people I know who bought it as their first CoD. But the minute communities of gaming forums and YouTube saw it as a terrible game because we are the ones who are so serious about gaming that we even go the internet to talk about it.

I agree with you 100%.

Everyone would still be playing mw2 if BO hadn't come out. We all know it. And you can sit here and say mw2 fails and blah blah and you've never liked it.. But I'm sure 70% of the people who say that are 10th prestige. And if you didn't like it that much you wouldn't even hack to get 10th prestige.

I myself, Still play mw2. Just because i don't like BO all that much.
Everyone is entitled to there own opinion.

All this stuff is getting blown out of proportian (however you spell that damn word).

And as for the "sabotage" thing, No. They're not going to do that to risk there own company. Think about it.

But, That's just MY opinion.

To and fro the island.
Silly. Just silly. Believing that Modern Warfare 2, which got millions of sales, was a sabotage doesn't make sense.

First: Activision doesn't just take whatever IW produces and publish it. For anyone to think that Activision would let a developer release something that wasn't up to their par is in itself a silly thought.

Secondly, I've heard a lot of people talking about how much Activision makes --- did anyone consider for a moment that IW would be the ones suffering most from sabotaging their game? Activision has other games to rely on if they had to, but Infinity Ward doesn't have many other titles they could lean on.

Call of Duty 4 was Infinity Ward taking a leap of faith. Modern Warfare 2 was Infinity Ward taking a leap of faith. Try one succeeded. Try two for the most part succeeded sales wise, but still had plenty of "haters".

Did you ever consider that the Call of Duty franchise isn't some large, intricate story? It's a videogame --- and Captain Price is a key character. They threw him in probably just because of that. Sure, there are a few plot holes in the game.... I highly doubt it's the first.

I think this entire idea is stupid. Modern Warfare 2 is still popular amongst millions and millions of gamers --- I feel that this forum has just banded together and gained a sense that everyone dislikes the game. Hardly the case.

I think we can all agree Mw2 is better than Black ops. Well at least the multiplayer is. The Story Mode is no compention Black Ops takes the crown on that one.
