Hacker Tells Sony to Back Off or Else...
With all this drama going around, famous hacker Graf_Chokolo has threatened Sony in a different way.
He says if Sony continues these tactics he will publish his IDA database, for the PS3's Hypervisor and Hypervisor processes.
What is that you ask? Well with the IDA database reverse engineering the hypervisor would quickly become easier for developers using IDA Pro Disassembler.

Sony should just say f&#* it and just go ahead to work on the plans for PS4 for just give up, I'm pretty sure we've won. We are to good for them and they are just jealous, maybe with the PS4 they could actually put some actually security.

Sounds like Sony might get there asses handed to them if they aren't careful.
Although it is true that circumventing the security measures and releasing copyrighted intellectual property is Illegal, and if inside the US there is not much to be done to win a legal case, especially since I am sure (not a PS3 owner so cannot verify) that in the TOS when you signup for an account, it most likely states something to that point. Not to mention sony is a multi billion dollar corporation and is sure to have some of the greatest legal minds working against George Hotz.
Time shall tell.

They didn't necessarily lose against the hacker, they gave up. its different.
They gave up for the most part because it was still making sales, and even more than it would if you couldn't jailbreak since people where buying it, taking it home and using it on a different provider. overall they just don't give a shit because they are still bankrolling anyway in sales.

No, I'm pretty sure that apple lost the court case but I haven't read up on it that much. Besides, Geohot is going to win and even if he doesn't we are going to keep advancing and PWN THE SHIT OUT OF SONY!
