With all these rumors floating around about a Borderlands sequel, we now have confirmation. Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford has indeed confirmed that there will be a Borderlands 2.

During an interview with VG247, Pitchford said, "I'm sure Duke will have some demands of me and I've gotta work on Borderlands 2, right?" This may seem weird to some fans because just last month, Pitchford was dismissing claims of a sequel, asking "What's Borderlands 2?".

But at the same time it shouldn't be that big a surprise seeing as though the original game's creative director previously said that a follow-up is "a no-brainer".

Borderlands has sold 3 million copies since its release date back in 2009, and is available for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. Hopefully in the sequel they fix the headset issues....

BL1 wasn't THE best, it was average, hope this one cuts the cake.

Has anyone noticed the borderlands servers have gone really bad lately tho, it was an awesome game but I hope they also do something so I dont make a new character and immediately have 3 level 69's jumping into my game to show off. Clearly theyre there to show off, cus what loot could they get from level 3 mobs..

yeah ive noticed that too. Im not sure if they ever corrected the microphone issues from Borderlands either.

Mostly what I remember from Borderlands is the horrible AWFUL Mad Moxxi's Underdome DLC (and grinding the trophies) It ruined the entire experience for me.
