With all these rumors floating around about a Borderlands sequel, we now have confirmation. Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford has indeed confirmed that there will be a Borderlands 2.

During an interview with VG247, Pitchford said, "I'm sure Duke will have some demands of me and I've gotta work on Borderlands 2, right?" This may seem weird to some fans because just last month, Pitchford was dismissing claims of a sequel, asking "What's Borderlands 2?".

But at the same time it shouldn't be that big a surprise seeing as though the original game's creative director previously said that a follow-up is "a no-brainer".

Borderlands has sold 3 million copies since its release date back in 2009, and is available for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. Hopefully in the sequel they fix the headset issues....

i loved borderlands 1, easy platinum, and fun as hell, they need to fix their trophy support/ trophy glitching. and head set issues that they had, but the gameplay was worth it. cant wait for the sequel..

Can't wait! Had tons of fun playing co-op with friends.
