(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well, since the Government are so nice to us in Australia and they are giving us free Laptops, I was wondering what the Specs are Required for Running a Minecraft Server (Knowing this will be LAN Bandwidth wont be an issue)

Im looking at the Minecraft Server Application and it says 50-100MBs are being used(Thats with 0 Players online)and with a consistant feed of 63MB/s (I Suppose that depends on your processor ect,)

So, Would this be use-able with a 2GB Ram Laptop? (Know the laptop costs around $300-$500 AUD/US (Yes Aus has 101 AU->US Currency ) But i will hopefully update this when we get the laptops on Tuesday.

I know , we haven't got round to updating it as bukkit hasn't .

The only way to join is with a downgraded minecraft but were back up soon .

We may use a temp world if bukkit takes it's time updating.

hmm, You got a Thread posted about your server? Also do you have a Towns Mod? (Eg Buy houses on selected lots?) Dont know my mods very well.

Our site has a gmap and it shows you we have towns ect and marked out by zones. The server (at the moment) is mostly building, it's getting into the stage of roleplay because of the traffic we get now.

We have our own forum which is full of information about the server such as plugins. You must login or register to view this content.

We do not have a towns mod, when somebody joins our server and becomes a member they apply to a town and the mayor sets them a zone. It's organised as hell lol.
