A lot of people and business's have been affected by the recent earthquake in Japan. Now according to a new report by Bloomberg, due to the 8.9 magnitude earthquake that struck Japan, Sony will be temporarily closing operations at all six of their factories in the north eastern part of Japan.

They are a Korean electronics company that produces just about anything. TVs, DVD Players, Home Theatre Systems, Blu-Ray players, phones, PCs, a few chemical companies and additional weird shit like solar panels and phone service providers. Surprised you've never heard of them.

So what did LG do ?

Sony and LG have been legally bitchslapping each other for at least a few months now. Sony sued to make sure LG didn't supply mobile phones to the US, because those phones and used Sony patented technology. Now LG are getting payback by saying Sony's using LG patents in Blu-Ray players, which also includes the PS3.

Sony's having a bad year, and it's almost 25% done :carling:
