Hello guys i remember NGU had a dedicated server that i never got to play on because at that time i didnt play minecraft. Then i believe it was closed down or just the thread was closed im not sure.

I believe that was because there was no one controlling it and it was just dead out of order.

Well me and Sloan owner of Explore Craft got together as a team and have been working hard to set up a good server for everyone here at NGU.

What the server will do is simply everyone NGU can play and well we can use it to make crazy things dedicated to this site.

-Essentials
-Guestprevention (we will have to verify everyone who joins to fight griefers)
-WorldEdit (for the staff of the server)
-WorldGuard(working on it)

Those are the main plugins we will use to keep the server organized.

Its going to be this way because me and sloan are working hard to keep it organized and up.

-NO GRIEFING (there are no warnings, only insta bans)
-Dont be a jerk to other players
-respect the chat or it will be taken from you
-Dont flame anyone on the server

Well i hope you guys enjoy this server alot and one more thing i wanted to say. The server is for NGU, that doesnt mean what happens on the server happens on the site. For example if your premium here or just a regular member you will get the same treatment on the server.

Another thing we might do is donations to the server will go to buying a dedicated with like 8gb ram for maximum play time. Donating will maybe earn you OP on the server.

Its running off sloans computer. I would really love to run it off a dedicated server just like mine is. But honestly i dont have the money right now to support a 50 60 $ server for the site. If i had more help yea u guess.

For a 6-8gb ram server yeaa or could even cost more.

When is the server gonna be up? 1.4 Bukkit was released today.

Yes, But when the 1.4 came out Bukkit had to make a new server.. they are making more new ones as we speak.. But the bad thing right now is that some plugins don't work and I might just wait for the plugins to work..Or should i just open it right now?
