Today, Nick Caplin – Head of Communications, SCEE - posted an update about a couple PSN issues. As I'm sure most of you know, Sony is planning on giving it's users some sort of content in order to make up for the loss of the PSN. Nick Caplin shared a few more vague details on this matter.

Both Kazuo Hirai and Sir Howard Stringer have stated that we will be offering identity theft protection for those affected by the malicious attack on PlayStation Network and many of you may have seen the details of the service available in North America.
As I have explained previously, creating a similar offering for the many countries within the SCEE region is a very complicated process. Each country has a different way of handling identity theft; some offer relatively sophisticated services whilst others are much more modest.
We are currently in the process of identifying how we manage this situation and once the programme is ready to launch, we will provide details of exactly which services are available in each country and explain how to sign up. We hope to do this early next week.
Also, look out for more information on the rest of our Welcome Back program, including which free content you will be eligible for. We will be offering PSN users the opportunity to select two PS3 games from a list of five, as well as offering PSP users the opportunity to choose two games from a list of four. We will let you know exactly what games are available very soon.
Please be assured that we are continuing to work around the clock to have some PlayStation Network and Qriocity services restored and will provide you with specific details shortly.
It seems as if they are offering two full free games as well now. Hopefully, this will be in addition to what I've posted You must login or register to view this content..
Not got Uncharted 2 yet . I Heard it's pretty Intense . I Bought Crysis 2 and Socom the other day . Crysis campaign ain't that good .
Socom is the game I'm gagging to play .
But I have to admit that I'm a big trophy hunter . And Will spend hours getting trophys .
Uncharted 2 is a MUST. The games visuals will make you jizz, seriously. It's such a pretty game, if not the prettiest I've played. Campaign is a few minutes longer than the first one, but it was surely an intense, action packed campaign.

Thanks for the information, 420. . Let's hope that these games will be good, instead of giving us two shitty games.
Yup :y: I hope so too. It better be games that people actually wanna play rather than some cheap, undersold game they just wanna get rid of. I'll try to stay on top of this and if the titles get released, I'll try and post it if no one else beats me to it
i lvoe the time off psn TBH, i now go outside more often, and enjoy the nice days, i get more done around my house, i spend more time with my pregnant wife and focus on real shit. psn will always be around, so knowing that, it gives me a chance to live life a little, theirs more to life than games...and games are fuggin awesome...i havent had any gaming withdrawals from this yet, and once psn comes back online..i might play some, but not as much as i did in the past. regardless...i will enjoy the 2 free games. cant beat that
