There will be NO PS4 reveal at the upcoming E3 event. Don't expect it anytime soon, either. Sony is currently working on the NGP; with the PS4 not even to the development phase yet.

Sony is still giving full attention to the PS3. They currently have no estimated date for when to expect the PS4.

Nintendo is looking like it will be the only company to reveal a new console this year.

Definitely will be a couple more years before they release that. They really just started making a profit off the ps3 and after being down for a month, they will have to get a few more sales before trying anything else.

Not completly true, quite possible but alot of rumors have been flying around.. there is proof and disproof to this topic, since Nintendo already has another console already set for a release, Microsoft did the same. now Microsoft has a completly new console in development. (Could be the XB720?)

With that being said, Sony has to play catch up, The PS4 was originally set to be released in 2012 based on the six year period between the release of consoles. (PS-1995 PS2-2000 PS3-2006) So instead of releasing another Playstation console they came up with the idea of a similar device to the PSP, the PSVibe

Sony already has a handfull with the security problems with PSN/Ps3, I dont see another PS console to be released for atleast another two years. So I wouldnt count on the proposed 2012 debut.

Didn't expect it, it was a lie at the start.. and even if it did, I couldn't just buy it..
