Patrick Söderlund a Dice Exec, has said that Battlefield 3 is to complex and hackers can't tweak and mess with the code because the Frostbite 2 engine is apparently strong for hackers to tweak.

Patrick later goes on to say that "It will be quite tricky. So we think it’s going to be too big of a challenge for people to make a mod.”

I personally think he is shooting himself in the foot by saying this. I also think it is more impressive and says more that if they didn't say anything, and it defiantly motivates more people to try.

Battlefield 3 is on a new engine. It is NOT the same as bc2 /facepalm

The only thing a hacker likes more then a £40k PC is a challenge. I say good luck BF3 and i hope the have a good team of patchers.
