Patrick Söderlund a Dice Exec, has said that Battlefield 3 is to complex and hackers can't tweak and mess with the code because the Frostbite 2 engine is apparently strong for hackers to tweak.
I personally think he is shooting himself in the foot by saying this. I also think it is more impressive and says more that if they didn't say anything, and it defiantly motivates more people to try.
He should have just let hackers try, then fail and they would probably give up. Now that he said that, hackers are probably going to be all over it. Nice fail, Patrick.

Pfft. Hackers will only hack Cod, oh wait, sorry, I mean little kids will only hack Cod on their CFW PS3's while we let the big boys focus on much more important tasks on hand.
In short, no game is unhackable.

this rlly encourages hackers to try and i think if frostbite dont update very often it will fall to the hackers and coders nice frostbite you didnt just shoot yourself in the foot but emptied the rest of the clip into your leg
Well, I think that it's going to end up like Sony. They said it's going to be hard to penetrate their security, how-ever they were proved wrong. So I think that they have made a big mistake in, what they have just released as a statement.
