Thought Black Ops was finished releasing any more DLC? Well, think again! The recent announcement marks the next upcoming downloadable content for the latest series title. Releasing on August 23rd, Xbox 360 gamers will get to experience “Rezurrection DLC” first hand, as it will feature the classic four maps from World At War (Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa, and Der Riese) and also introduce a brand new moon style map. Those who were not lucky enough to get their hands on a hardened edition of the game, now have the opportunity to get the old zombie maps for themselves. Being delivered for the normal price of $15, gamers will be able to play the DLC featuring only zombie maps.

Being at least a month exclusive, reports aim Rezurrection to hit the Playstation 3 and PC before September 30th. In addition to these five zombie maps, Treyarch will also be giving those who choose to purchase the DLC, a 20-song Zombies soundtrack and a Moon Xbox 360 theme (Perhaps Playstation 3 theme come time?). Nevertheless, the future holds at least one more map pack for Black Ops, but will you be purchasing it?

*Notice* - For those of you who have the prestige/hardened edition and are wondering about the DLC, some members have snooped around and uncovered some information. Much thanks!

Im a Hitmarker
So either im confused or didnt read hard enough, but if the people already have the Hardened edition of the game (such as myself), are we basically paying $15 for one Zombies map?

To clear everyone's doubts above, you WILL get them for free if you have bought the hardened or prestige editions. This includes all the maps, the soundtrack and the theme. Check on CoD's website if you have doubts.

I'm getting it, but what I don't like is that this is not the end of the storyline. I wanted to see Samantha. They can only drag the story out for so long. And if they think that Zombies alone is gonna make me shell out $60 for the Black Ops' sequel, they got another thing coming. Especially after the shit storm that BO was. They botched the game a lot. It was rushed and sloppy, and you felt it if you were gaming on a console that isn't a 360.
Multiplat games should be as equal as possible across all platfrorms.

a tad excessive for me??... its a neat idea to allow the classic maps to be bought for those who didn't buy the hardened edition. but i prefer some originality and something new oppose to "refurbished"
content. ill go play W@W if i wana play the old zombie maps Winky Winky
