Activision has today amazed gamers worldwide by telling the world that all attendees to it's Call Of Duty: XP event will be receiving a voucher to pick up the hardened edition of Modern Warfare 3 for free.

Ticket holders to the event will receive a code that will allow them to redeem a free copy of the hardened edition of the game, set to launch on 8th November. However, Activision has not commented on how exactly this will work.

Activision also gave details on the Call Of Duty: Elite live action series which is currently still in development.

The convention will also have other great features such as the chance to play on a reconstructed map of Scrapyard from Modern Warfare 2, with paintball guns, and also a $1 million MW3 tournament.

Tickets to the two-day convention will cost $150, with all money raised going towards the You must login or register to view this content..

Great article. :y:

I actually made a thread with a preview of what the Call of Duty XP event will look like. Mind adding it to your thread?

My experience with Battlefield is how you describe your feelings towards CoD. Everyone wants to go lone wolf. Not that I'm against that, it's the style I normally play myself, in TDM only though. At least CoD players work in teams on team-based games (if everyone has a mic), BF players all tend to be like "Fuk dis shit am goin commando to take dem ****as out, back in 5 k?"

You've seen the gameplay from the MW3 E3 2011 demo, now compare it.

Well.. just another way to somehow promote such a crappy re-hash of Call of Duty..

Honestly, I couldn't stand the Previous MW, if they can maybe do something like the first one, I'd buy it, but even then, Battlefield 3 is my game of choice this year, and I'm sure alot of people would agree with that.
