<left>Awesome faceuring the Infinity Ward implosion in the Spring of 2010 Activision had to scramble to pick up new developers quickly. Infinity Ward co-founders were fired since they were starting a new studio outside of Activision. Law suits also came along with that and plenty of Infinity Ward workers left to join West and Zampella at their new firm, Respawn Entertainment. Activision needed to bring the developers together from Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games to finish up Mw3. So far there has been nothing that has interrupted the franchise. </left>

<left>Beachhead was working on the Job with Call of Duty:Elite and then Demonware is handling services for all of the games. And also Treyarch is working on non-Modern Warfare-based titles.</left>

<left>Stohl then went on to say that “Soap” MacTavish and John Price, the main characters of Modern Warfare, are “two of the most iconic characters in gaming” but he would not go on to say any information on anything that is coming up in the franchise.</left>

No. It means the devs actually get to work and put their hearts into a particular aspect of the game without one of 50 others in the same branch ruining it.

no,actually it doesnt... let me explain a bit. Smile

if Activision have 500 people on Mw3 and Bf has only 280 it means mw3 is more or less bound to have loads more features on it than bf. Hello CoD Haters. Smile

That's nice but really doesn't make much of a difference (Except for the interns...There gonna be making a shit load of coffee), What really counts is the effort and creativity... I mean I don't think 500 men working on a bridge would really make a difference if none of them new what they were doing (Most likely in it for the $) but we'll see when the game comes out

Let's all hope that MW3 can live up to all the hype it has been getting, if not BF3 will come in for an easy market takeover.

i dont see why it has to take 500 devs to make one game, there most certainatly will be some sort of cross overs somewhere along the line and clashes of interest. sure 500 devs means the game possibly gets done quicker but they would all need to work in sync with each other for it to work, too many cooks spoil the broth is a saying that springs to mind, and i'm a massive CoD fan but reading this gives me a couple of doubt whether it will be as good as the previous versions.

i think 500 devs will kill the soul and passion put into the game that the previous devs had put into the game. maybe this CoD will have lost its magic having so many devs on it.
