In light of the unique release of the white PS3, sony have decided to add a little more vibrant colour to their range of systems however do note that a release date has only been set for Japan (17th November). Unfortunately there is no indication whether these systems will be coming to Europe and/or North America anytime soon so don't get your hopes up just yet.

Despite the fact they may not be released to any countries outside of Japan, they are region free so feel free to import one if this is the type of PS3 you have been hoping to get your hands on. Personally I'm quite pleased Sony have decided decided to expand on their current systems since it gives a bit more variation other than their usual all black products.

Their sales would get a boost if they shipped them to Europe aswell.. instead of japan only, last time i heard.. there was a earthquake+tsunami in japan.. i dont think japan is in a hurry to buy coloured ps3`s :dumb:

That would be pretty sweet, I think you should put a message through to sony to get that in production haha.

This is so unneeded. Just Sony trying to be greedy by releasing "new consoles" with a different color set. Anyone with any sort of artistic skill can either buy a skin and apply that, or paint the console themselves... It's not even modified in any way. They're probably just releasing them to try to fix any sort of exploit that was available hardware-wise.

but anyways, i'll say the same thing i said when i first saw it.
sony did this before with the white ps3 a couple years back. they released it in japan and NEVER released it in Europe or America

The best looking console atm is the MW3 xbox
