Hello, my name is PdW2kX and this is my first post here. Since this is my first post, I figured I’d make it count. I’d like any who’re interested to check out and give feedback on my ongoing Minecraft series “Minecraft Awesome Is Awesome”.
A bit of history: Minecraft Awesome is the official Minecraft server of the website videogamesawesome.com. It’s a huge server with a lot of creative people and many amazing communities. Normally, the VGA crew highlights the Minecraft Awesome server by doing live tours of build challenges.
My series instead takes a look at the Minecraft communities that have sprung up and flourished. I’ve only used tour guides a few times, so for the most part I just wander about aimlessly and look to highlight and explore interesting builds. All of my commentary is recorded live, and while most of it is based on looking at and discussing the locations I’m touring, occasionally I throw in some general commentary as well.
Minecraft Awesome Is Awesome recently celebrated its landmark sixtieth episode, so to commemorate the occasion I posted a long “thank you” video for my current watchers and will be trying to drum up interest in this series through this board and some others.
I don’t harbor any dreams of becoming a major YouTube star, but I do think this series has a lot of heart and I think it shows off the creative works of many amazing people. As always, feedback and comments of any kind are appreciated. I never delete comments and I respond to a lot of them.
And that’s about it, hopefully you watch and enjoy the series. The official playlist of all the Minecraft Awesome Is Awesome videos is available at this link:

Thank you for watching, and I hope you enjoy the series.
After several months, a lot of random builds, and lots of wandering around, Minecraft Awesome Is Awesome celebrates ONE HUNDRED episodes in "Minecraft Awesome Is Awesome Episode 100: PD Is Very Thankful And Celebrates 100 Episodes!".
From the description: "And so it's finally come to pass: after months of playing around, fooling around, touring around, and rambling around semi-coherently, Minecraft Awesome Is Awesome has reached the impressive milestone of 100 episodes. I'd like to once again thank the MAIA fanbase for their continued support, without you there's no way I would have had the energy and desire to take this series into triple digits. As always, I'd like to thank Fraser as well for being a constant source of motivation and inspiration. Thanks everybody! I can't say "thank you" enough. You guys are awesome and here's to 100 more episodes!"
Thanks for the support man! It's much appreciated. That said...
The tour of New Old Port takes center stage once again in "Minecraft Awesome Is Awesome Episode 101: A Hotel In A Mod-Exclusive Community".
From the description: "The tour of New Old Port gets back underway and in fact nears its conclusion, as awesome mod Mellisbaker continues to tour me through the sights and sounds of the new world's mod-exclusive community. I run afoul of those devil mooshroom abominations, and also get my troll on as I walk through a hotel built in the middle of an exclusive community."
Due to some various complications I'm a bit behind on plugging the latest episode of MAIA, and I'm behind on recording MAIA as well. Sorry guys! I plan to record all day tomorrow and upload two episodes instead of the usual one on Saturday, the next day a MAIA episode is scheduled.
That said, the latest MAIA episode is currently "Minecraft Awesome Is Awesome Episode 102: A Fond Farewell To New Old Port".
From the description: "My special tour of the mod-exclusive community of New Old Port comes to a close today, as I check out some final sights, get toured around a bit more by the awesome mellisbaker, and finally depart with some encouraging words of hope and respect towards the ever-present team of moderators and builders that help make this server so great."
Minecraft Awesome Is Awesome begins its next big arc in a two-for-one special! I take on the Minecraft Awesome server's new anime-themed community, Neo Japan, in MAIA Episodes 103 and 104!
From the description: "With several New World locations already under my belt, it's time to fulfill my promise and check out my friend's new community! Now officially named "Neo Japan", this anime-themed community is ran by three great builders who, working with a team of also-awesome Minecraft Awesomers, have built a growing community that already has cool builds, sprite art, and lots to explore!"
The tour of Neo Japan concludes in "Minecraft Awesome Is Awesome Episode 105: Domo Arigato Neo Japan! Sayonara!".
From the description: "And so the "mini-arc" tour of the Neo Japan community draws to a close! Neo Japan is a growing community and there's a lot of room to grow, and while some of the anime references were lost on me, I still enjoyed looking at all the nice builds in Neo Japan so far. With a team of great builders and leaders behind it, Neo Japan has a whole lot of potential and I can't wait to see what changes by the time I head back to this community."
It fills me with a considerable amount of pride to present my own Minecraft Awesome community in "Minecraft Awesome Is Awesome Episode 106: We're Still Here, And We're Still Random".
From the description: "Now it's time for some shameless self-promotion! I'm more than happy to tour my own New World community, Still Random! Just like the original Random in the original world, Still Random is a "build anything anywhere for any reason" community, and it's this unique idea that has helped make Still Random a growing community of great builders!"
It's another double posting for today as I try to get caught up on a couple of things, here's MAIA Episode 107 and 108, featuring my very own Minecraft Awesome community, Still Random!
Two episodes again this time, once again covering my own community of Still Random! Featuring more awesome builds, the nether, and more random ramblings. Hope you enjoy!
