Post: Would you say Snipers in BF3 Are underpowered?

So i was playing battlefield and i have to admit its one of the best and most realistic games i have ever played, but what really gets on my tits is the fact that im getting point blank hitmarkers with the SV98, If your going to make a game realistic atleast make the snipers realistic too.
Question: Would you say snipers in BF3 Are Under powered?

They can't or didn't account for blood loss in a game. The M40A5 uses a .308 (the equivalent to 7.62.56mm NATO FMJ (Full Metal Jacket Rounds)) seen here - You must login or register to view this content. Suppression make your sniper rounds a one shot kill to the chest? I'll need to try this on my M98.

Not all sniper rifles. I've only seen it on the M40A5 at about 100 yards, give or take. If your at distance though, you gotta take into account the velocity of the bullet, the father the target, the less damage the bullet does.

I think the snipers are fine considering I only really play recon....I usually play hardcore CQ/RUSH if I'm using a bolt action however I can still get hitmarkers if the person is on the run. For non-hardcore mode's I either have to be having a good headshot day or use a semi-auto sniper...1-3 shots and dead...I tooootally did alot of SV98 camping in the beta on the small island and got plenty of 1-shot kills...and if your having trouble with bullet drop then use a straight pull bolt so you can track your shots.
