better graphics yes. better multiplayer yes. better story campaign... not yet. modern warfare was a 3 part series. when you put it all together. modern warfare is the clear winner in that part.

Dice/EA can brag all they want, they've earned it! They made the game of the century in my opinion. The entire CoD series is just repackaging and how you go backwards with your progress I'll never understand (mainly graphics wise) After MW2 they just stopped giving a shit.

That's because they realized that their fanbase will pay for the same game every year. Think about it, you could make millions in profit off the same product every year without changing much, or you can spend a bunch of money upgrading things and still come out with the same profits. Activision is lazy and only cares about money so they go with the first option.

I'd have to say that modern warfare 3 has the best campaign... Everything else goes to BF3 hands down.
