I remember I sucked at jets. Everyone starts as a noob, even the players that are amazing. They've just been flying them for ages and getting upgrades. You start off with a machine gun on your jet, which sucks. Try and get a few kills with that and you'll unlock flares, then MISSILES! Then it's game on!

So yeah, it just takes time and practice my friend.

Took me about a week of using jets and it just gets easier from there.

The best jet controls in my opinion are:

Jet buttons: Lefty.

so you speed up with R2 and slow down with L2, fire with R1 & use the gadget with L1 - another thing, you can move the jet left & right with the right controller stick (Not control it but just move to left & right)

Jet Sticks: (really recommend this if you cant fly the jet without crashing) Southpaw.

So with this you control all of the jet with the left controller stick, Going up & down and turning left & right.

It helped me a lot to fly without crashing. :y:

And for kills with jets.. its just patience, i didn`t get my first jet kill up until a few days ago when Back To Karkand came out :p but its pretty simple, as long as you are behind the enemy jet, just spray the MG and aim higher then the target. but its annoying when you keep getting locked on by the jets/helicopters/ground stinger missiles. if that happens just put the afterburners on and get to the outer map (or fly to the sky but if you get into no gravity (whatever its called lol) you are a easy target for anyone behind you because you cant really move the jet)

I piled up quite a lot of jet kills and finally unlocked the flares and once you have the heet seeker missiles, easy kills :y:
