There have been many rumours about the upcoming nextgen consoles so far. If all are true, the inside of the new Xbox, presumably some kind of insane multicore CPU and crazy powerful graphics chipset could be teased early as part of Microsoft's final showing at the Consumer Electronics Show this year. This could mean it may be properly revealed at E3 next year in June. So if all these rumours are accurate, expect it to be in stores by the 2013 holiday season!

But that is not what I have come here to talk about. Rumours have uprising that Microsoft are trying to go more mobile. There are strong signs suggesting that, like with Nintendo's Wii U, a tablet component figures heavily into the new design. That new Windows 8 Metro interface (now also seen on the Xbox Dashboard) just begs to be touched. some have even been suggesting that the core of the new platform will be akin to a tablet PC that wirelessly connects to a base station, which in turn plugs into your TV. If this is the case, a premium Xbox Next setup could include a base station, a tablet, a conventional controller of some kind, and the recently discussed high-def evolution of the Kinect.

These are all rumoured and most of the time, these don't turn out true, but,

If the Xbox 720 were to be tablet based, what would you think about? Would you buy it? (answer those questions below)

Thanks for reading,

its probably a rumor just like the ps3 was going to have 4 analog sticks on its controller anyway the only way people would move of sonys console is if Microsoft offer free live because of sonys 'maintenance' and microsoft would have the advantage of having skype satellites which may make it easier.
