I have to give them props for actually doing something futuristic. Personally, I'm not too into it, I like the current warfare kind of stuff. But I think this will be a big hit!
By the time the game comes out it will only be a little over 12 years in the future....not the futuristic.
The graphics do look a bit pants imo. Moving into the "future" - if they have done that - is a good choice in my opinion, it allows the game to actually go somewhere and have a theme rather than just being stuck in 2012. I'm still not buying though, I'm done with Call of Duty for definite and from the looks of things - if I don't buy Fifa the only games I'm gonna bother getting are the new GTA and possibly the new Max Payne.
The funny thing is that the same people like you that talk shit about COD end up buying it. I will be there as well the tens of millions of people at the midnight launch. The trailer shown shows a great sense of hope and excitement for COD as a whole and for the future.
i never said I wasn't going to buy it. But you and I know they need to upgrade the graphics. I will say this. Treyarch is bold and moving into Uncharted territory. We all know this game is going to do big numbers on launch day. Doesn't mean its a success because it all depends on game play and what's in the actually game. But this is the first trailer and this is more single player.
Also they have a video on Elite that they talk to head guy at treyarch and he talks about zombies.
The black ops engine is the engine modified from w@w which uses the same engine as cod4 which has been in use since cod2 and its used in mw3 as current and its called iw 3.0 used in black ops mw3 and going to be used in black ops 2...... You must login or register to view this content.
What I was trying to say is that it's not their modified version of the 3.0 version of the engine. This is a slightly improved version of the 4.0 IW engine.
