This year Gamestop was the first to announce this. Firstly they claim your rewards will come in "waves", to be precise, four waves. The first wave is active now and features a limited edition two-sided poster, which has art on it designed by Treyarch and also has slogans such as "The Future is Black".

In addition to the poster, customers will also receive an instantly redeemable Prestige Token for the game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, this can be spent in the Prestige shop for items deemed very rare and valuable, including Double XP. Customers that buy it as early as possible and pre-order during the first wave will automatically receive bonuses revealed in waves two, three and four. These will all be announced in due course.

Went in and pre-ordered my copy today.
I for one am looking forward to it, Treyarch are much better at making the games.

I thought the same thins at first but this is what I'm going to do, I contacted my local gamestop and asked but they said that I could pre order the regular game now and get like the poster and everything and if I decide later on that I want to upgrade to the hardened edition or prestige or whatever I could. :y:

I usually don't pre-order until like a month ahead.
