Post: Battlefield 3: Official DICE Servers Re-Introduced

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); DICE has made the decision to add more "official DICE servers" for Battlefield 3. Players tired of user managed servers should now be able to find an official server much easier. This decision comes as a result of much fan request.

DICE reportedly quadrupled the amount of official servers, in response to fan request. The "rent-a-server" feature has since removed almost all of the official DICE servers. The feature allows any one to host a Battlefield 3 server. Server administrators have full control over the server and the users who play in it.

Abuse of administration powers and the ability to alter how long a match takes to complete, has left fans wanting more DICE servers with standard rules. DICE has answered the call.

Simply switch to the "search" tab in the Battlefield 3 Server Browser and type "DICE". However, beware of impostors. Check that the server owner is listed as "DICE", and not a username from your respective platform.

Yeah I saw this on twitter....

I have to say about time!!! I'm all for owning your own server, but sometimes its abit much playing in some of these games ( long games, loss of certain weapons, etc) and what admins do/ don't do!!! I have been playing a couple of games now and got kicked by admin for no reason, so hopefully I can get back to having just a standard game!!!

I searched for 'Awesome faceICE' on the server browser on my Xbox an hour ago and found 91 pages of official DICE servers... the problem was that every single one was empty :p

I had roughly 3 games yesterday without being kicked or put on the same team as the owner, I'm glad there is more DICE severs but I would like to see some that have 200% tickets because the games are over to quickly most of the time.

There's always been a fair few official DICE servers though, and a lot of the time were full of players.
Thing was they were just named with a P followed by a bunch of numbers

Either way i'm glad they've put more official servers in ^^

Thank god... I alway play in rooms without admins, as they always get the shits with how I want to play the game that I purchased so I could play and have fun. Plus it sucks when you are raping and the admin kicks you then you ask why and they go cause your a douche... Dude just cause I took your head off from over 1km away 22 times cause you went back to the same spot over and over I'm the douche? Funny that.

In Flames Much?
Little too late.....
DICE servers should have never been taken away. DICE should have made a playlist just for them and made custom servers unranked.
Whoever at DICE decided on this move should say sorry.
