Post: Why is Call Of Duty so addicting?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Now I'm not saying this is relevant for everyone because of course there are people that play CoD occasionally and would be completely ok with not playing it for a week or month. But of course its safe to say that plenty of people play the living hell out of the game, and I'm just thinking, why? What is the appeal despite the numerous complaints and problems?

My ideas: The fact that CoD follows the pattern of having the same concept, but many different possiblities. Hence its possible for you to get into a gaming wondering what MIGHT happen because every experiance is new, hence your mind doesn't get bored because every move you make can be different. Just my ideas, i'm not saying thats the sole reason or even a good one but feel free to make points and ideas on the addicting feel of Call of Duty. Smile

also witch CoD do you this is the most addictive?

good point.. but i feel some people play it to much and get addicted to a point of its a problem. alot of people have a hard time letting go of Cod and growing up and moving on with there lives. i no this cause it was a problem i had my self when it was time for me to get a job.. now i play about 3 hours a day when i dont have to work.. i think this is a very touchy subject that alot of people need help with.

I've only ever played the one CoD (MW2) but I was pretty addicted to it a few years ago, as were a lot of people I knew at the time. That's what probably kept me playing, the fact that everyone else was. I've lost interest since then though, it all got a little bit repetitive/boring.

Bounty hunter
its simple easy to pick up and play ,doesn't require alot of teamwork/communication.
tons of different play styles (quickscoping, ect).
different class combinations
arcade feel to it
killstreaks Nukes/moabs to go for
lvling system loads to grind through challenges ,prestiges
just plain addicting and fun.
the list goes on
(not a fan boy just like playing cod) :p
