Post: Why is Call Of Duty so addicting?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Now I'm not saying this is relevant for everyone because of course there are people that play CoD occasionally and would be completely ok with not playing it for a week or month. But of course its safe to say that plenty of people play the living hell out of the game, and I'm just thinking, why? What is the appeal despite the numerous complaints and problems?

My ideas: The fact that CoD follows the pattern of having the same concept, but many different possiblities. Hence its possible for you to get into a gaming wondering what MIGHT happen because every experiance is new, hence your mind doesn't get bored because every move you make can be different. Just my ideas, i'm not saying thats the sole reason or even a good one but feel free to make points and ideas on the addicting feel of Call of Duty. Smile

also witch CoD do you this is the most addictive?

Addicting part, Not to down talk anyone, but, When you collect titles, guns, perks, killstreaks, unlocks it gives you something (not physical) but the game does give you something. So in your head, it is rewarding. You then forget, you are not physically gaining anything. It is a race for rank, leaderboards, etc. I like to compare addicted COD players with Tunnel Vision. As you block out (important) things and focus just on the game. Sadly, that's when the game, stops being a game.

If you or anyone thinks they are addicted; Get a calender and add up how many days you spent playing JUST COD, when finished, you should have a different outlook.

I find COD as a decent game. I don't know why people fight over it. Its a fun game overall if you wanna grab some friends and play a few matches or play the spec ops missions. I mainly buy them for the story(cuz i find it interesting) and spec ops usually. These are my main reasons for buy them and the story hasn't disappointed me yet.
