Hi everybody,
Since lots of information is given by NGU, we decided to write a little application to use with it.
We never had the intension to make an hybrid only tool, so we needed to organize some structure.
But PD tries to make it difficult for us, but we all united can BEAT them!
And it is finally there, in all it's glory, 1.6, 2.14 patch proof!
You can:
Change A-spec/B-spec level
Upgrade/downgrade Credits
Move gamedays (in case you search for a specific car from the UCD)
Gold Licenses
Gold Special events (good to do Vettel, as DS3 player)
Gold A-spec/B-spec events
Change current car to NCD/OCD
Disconnect your borrowed car
Enable/Disable special menu
Globally prevent resetting of your 2.11 hybrids
Reset OCD and UCD
Modify Race Number and font type (for self-created RM/Stealth cars)
And of course do an big amount of things to your car to hybrid it!
For information how to use it, or if your hybrid doesn't work...
Search NGU, there are many tutorials out there, take a look first!

For now, this is it! If major bugs come up, we will fix it...hopefully.
Coding has been re-structured and flaws in the car's database has been solved (not all).
Bugs (real ones) have been solved, stolen sources will be detected as we can simulate the bugs!
Enjoy and don't push it!

PS. I cannot express it enough, but this would never been released without the help of some really freaking awesome friends of mine!
PS2. In case your a HEX editor and don't want this pre-fixed tool. Please take a look at my other handy small tool You must login or register to view this content.

- Possible Solutions for your problem -
- Download You must login or register to view this content.
- Manually save GT5 in-game before using the tool (Red button in GT Life)
- Skip spaces in the directory structure to your savegame
- Start the tool by clicking the .exe (no shortcut)
- If you move an save from account x to account y. A single restart of GT5 will not solve your PSN issue.
- In case you wonder if anything else gets installed, read the thread. Most has been spoken about
- In case you don't know what something means (Bruteforce, resigning save etc) use the search function on NGU.
- PM's with questions that are not my tool related will be ignored
- PM's with requests to build in things without supplying the correct info to do so, will be ignored.
just to be able to race with my friend a created a new account, added all cars and updated. so nothing happens with my hybrids on my other account and hopefully one day someone will find a way to be able to go online again with our hybrids.
So you are basically re-downloading the patches everytime you want to switch to your hacked cars? Probably not a very efficient idea..
Also that reminds me of some unfound rumours I've heard of a kid who was banned because he was "sponging" (pre-permanent borrow glitch app days) too many times. Apparently the kid was share glitching all the X1 in their factory paints and because sponging method requires one to download the patches virtually each and every time. I guess he was banned because he went overboard which in turn probably placed some burden on the PSN/PD network.
If such were the case I would be a bit more cautious and try to seek a somewhat better alternative than to have to download patches each and every time.

I do not know if we will will ever be able to go back online with our Hybrids, or even if it is a good idea, but by using 2 disk game from different region, you can easily have an account at 2.11 with hybrid and an account at 2.12 to race online with friends in the same PS3.

no worries i only did this twice so far. i have been modding for the past few months and it was fun but now it's time to go online again and do some normal races with my friends.

like a said to tuxsavvy; i'm gonna leave modding for what it is for the moment, time to do some races. will see what the future will bring us...
For jailbroken consoles theres a easy way to downgrade, because we can install pkg files, im already patch the 2.12 update with 2.11 archives and i able to downgrade/upgrade anytime.

*nods* Like I said I don't know if the rumours are true or not but seeing the traffic to and from between various games it seems as though they go through a giant mirror (akamaitech) for mainly patches. Point being is that with such a well known mirror it is weird for them to ban gamers constantly using up those bandwidth, well of course that is if they were getting charged per bandwidth usage and are penalised for any excess quota they accrue. *shrugs*
There probably is a way but the way I can think of is by setting up a proxy server in between which will capture the packages when you try to download and install each patch through PS3 normally. Then when it comes to the next time to download and install each patch PS3 just grabs them from the proxy server instead of from akamaitech. The only other problem is that PD will see you having to go through updates but not accruing any more downloads apart from that first time with the proxy.
Though most ISP I think have their own transparent proxies which I guess could avert one from being banned from PSN. Though it all various on various factors.

Too bad I think the majority of us (at least on this part of the forum) are on OFW, there's no real easy way back of downgrading to 3.56 and then meddling with various CFW patches to get the desired result in order to be able to play GT5 online and offline without risking a PSN (machine ID) ban. I too was looking at that option but the days of PS3Yes and what have you are pretty dated.
It was all more or less I guess a matter of getting on the boat at the right time.
I think the last few of these threads are getting a bit more offtopic Should probably start creating a new thread instead of annoying OP/Mods
Hey, does anyone know what happened to the thread on here with a list of good hybrids/chassis? I can't seem to find it anymore in the search, so a message or link would be much appreciated
