This was possible before(until gt5 2.01 i believe) with a glitch in the game, but things have gotten better since.

Here is a list of all premium cars it is possible with.

I tried to paint the wheels of following cars and there is some influence, but not as desirable. I haven't tested them thouroughly though, only tried to change the wheel color with one paint. Perhaps you've already tested them as well.


Citroën GT by Citroën Road Car -> if you go into the NCD you'll notice that (depending on the body paint) there are 4 different wheel colors of this car (silver - silver/dark gray - silver/black - white). I was unable to paint the wheels, however the wheels that are normally silver/dark gray and silver/black turned into silver only)... not very exciting.

Citroën GT by Citroën Concept '08 -> I'm not even entirely sure of it, but if you compare closely with a normal stock wheel, and a painted stock wheel there's a slight difference I think. I painted mine into Nero Nemesis wheels and it appeared to be slightly (very slightly) darker than the normal stock wheel of this car... also not very interesting.

Subaru IMPREZA WRX STI '07 -> applied the Nero Nemesis code to the wheels but it turned out as bronze instead. I assume it'll do the same no matter what color you try.

Renault 5 Turbo '80 -> is a standard car but it works.

Thanks! I painted all premium cars in a bright color. So the small color variations i might have missed.
I will look again at those three.

i have a problem, i tried to granturismo s, but nothing, i tried to r8, nothing, lancia delta, nothing.... X( what did i done wrong?
i changed the 01 9A 1F FF with more colors, also tried with CF0 but nothing, can anybody help me?

019A1 FFF will use stock rim colors. ( 019A1 is an odd value)
Use 019A0 xxx to paint the rims.

The openings contains a lot of body colors wich are odd, so you can't paint the wheels with those codes in front.
