(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Since we can edit the paint chip of a car direct now, we again can paint the stock rims of some cars in GT5.
This was possible before(until gt5 2.01 i believe) with a glitch in the game, but things have gotten better since. Happy

Here is a list of all premium cars it is possible with.

I tested these cars myself:
BMW 1 Series Concept tii '07
Citroen C4 coupe 2.0VTS '05
Chevrolet Impala Nascar 2010 T.Stewart,JP. Montoya, You must login or register to view this content., D.Earnhardt (Jeff Gordon not working! as are all 2011 cars)
Honda CR-Z '10
Honda Integra type R DC5 '04
Infiniti G35 Coupe '06

This is a car that supposedly worked with the older glitch.

HEP G37 Sema. *confirmed not working anymore*

It also works on these standard cars. Thanks to slim355's tool this was possible. :y::y:

- honda ITR (DC2) '98
- honda ITR (DC2) '99
- honda ITR (DC5) '03
- honda CTR (EP) '01
- honda CTR (EP,EU) '01
- honda CTR (EP) '04
- mercedes 300SL coupe '54
- mugen S2000 '00
- peugeot 206 CC '01
- renault 5 turbo '80
- toyota corolla rally car '98

*that should be all*

Have Fun.

0172D FFF , again 0172D is an odd number. So use 0172C xxx to have paintable wheels. xxx should be exchanged with the rim color code you want.

Odd number are the ones ending in: 1,3,5,7,9,B,D,F Subtract 1 to make rims paintable
Even are the ones ending in 0,2,4,6,8,A,C,E Add one to make rims default color again.

in the line 0000E830 I have: 02 00 00 00 00 00 02 01 00 00 CF BF FF 00 01 00
so the 00 CF BF FF is the colour, right?
I have tried 00 CF AB FC to give the rims the matt black paint... is that right?
because the rims are still normal colour!

Citroën GT by Citroën Road Car -> if you go into the NCD you'll notice that (depending on the body paint) there are 4 different wheel colors of this car (silver - silver/dark gray - silver/black - white). I was unable to paint the wheels, however the wheels that are normally silver/dark gray and silver/black turned into silver only)... not very exciting.

Citroën GT by Citroën Concept '08 -> I'm not even entirely sure of it, but if you compare closely with a normal stock wheel, and a painted stock wheel there's a slight difference I think. I painted mine into Nero Nemesis wheels and it appeared to be slightly (very slightly) darker than the normal stock wheel of this car... also not very interesting.

Subaru IMPREZA WRX STI '07 -> applied the Nero Nemesis code to the wheels but it turned out as bronze instead. I assume it'll do the same no matter what color you try.

Renault 5 Turbo '80 -> is a standard car but it works.

Nice work also :y: Several cars I didn't know to allow stock wheels to be painted.

Hyper Sylvia has Yellow front and Red back rims. Or vice versa. Smile

so, it seems that the m3 ´07 don´t have paintable rims!
I have tried 2 times... may be someone else can try...

Look at openings post for a list of paintable cars.
I am trying them all out so you don't have to.

If a car is not listed it very, very, probably does not have paintable stock rims.
I could have missed one, but i will be checking all premiums again once the standard list is completed.

ah ok, I wanted to help filling the list, but it was my first try with the rims, so I don´t know, if my changes were right!
so I don´t have to hope, there are more premium paintable stock rims?!?

Probably not. But as promised when i finish with the standard cars, i will go trough the premiums again to see if i missed one somewere.
The three mentioned earlier (scooby and citroen GT ones) only give small changes, if any at all so i don't include them.

Thanks for wanting to help though. That is nice of you.:y:

premium gtr r33

This was posted in a recent locked thread. So i checked if the new ones were correct.

The CERVO and the Mustang are *confirmed* *not* working.
This user probably had after market rims one before he tried to paint them.

So i stand by the list in the OP. Gandalf the Grey
