I'm probably only gonna use it to add paints, but I might try some other things like adding car tickets (no car mods or adding cars you can't purchase though), is there any risk of getting banned for doing that?

Risk for getting banned for adding tickets, paints or parts is 0.0000001% :y:
( 0.0000001% only cos I'm not sure what NSA are doing Shhh )

Ok, thanks

What are the things I should avoid if I want to play online? Is it still safe in open lounges?

Just don't go seasonal Dt's or TT's with hacked car and don't even think about changing your username from secret menu.

But I recomend you use hacked cars only with your friends in private lobby :y:

Is there some sort of list over what I can safely edit? Are credits safe?

How exactly do you change the settings to break in a car?

If you extract your car blob You must login or register to view this content. then you just add this 00FF000000000000000000C8927C0000000000000A000000 to the beginning of the blob BAM full power and 0 miles to boot. Just make sure the first few bytes 00FF is correct. Some cars have 01FF others have 00FF. Credit goes to the guy in that thread who explains it all. :y:

you can do it like eat_ur_food has expaind to you but i do it differently so i can do multiple cars at once in a short notice...

this is how i do it;

-CRTL + F and type the bodycode of the car you want to break in
-go a few rows up and search for 3C, 3C is always the startingpoint of your cardata
-3C 00 00 FF 00 00 00 00 00 FF FB 6C 20 00 00 00
-change the red values to 00 00 00 00 C8 92 7C
-so now you have ; 3C 00 00 FF 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 C8 92 7C...

*note*; even if you have a certain car only once in your garage, you will find the cardata multiple times on your save (i think 3 or 4 times) but only one will have a different paintcode than 03 FF FF FF so check the paintcode to be sure you have found the right cardata.
