(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So from what I've heard there is basically no more slammed or (realistic) HP mod. The slammed and camber thing is making me leave that was the best part to me. What're y'all's opinion on this update?

Do a barrel roll!
They had to anyway. It got out of control with over powered cars in Time trial and use them in a advantage,

You talkin to me?
The only group they will totally alienate are those that started playing purely for hybrids online.
It will always be possible to play offline with hybrids now below 2.12

Just lucky it was PD and not the COD dev's behind this.
The update took months instead of days,
and a few people were account banned instead of everyone console banned.
There are still a few exploits working on the savegame too.

Not much to complain about really.

I agree with Slim, I still will always play GT5 because I love it so much, but it will lose some of its new found shine that came from hybriding. Thank you very much Slim, q-k, Luca, and all the people who discovered these exploits, you made GT5 the most fun it has been for 2 months.

Slim, the challenge is that you might be, like me, enjoying racing online in a league, not using hybrid, but also have fun with your hybrids on your own. At this point if I accept the update to be able to take part in my league, all my cherish and time consuming hybrid will revert to a pumpkin.

i think PD was right and wrong. Right: too many people going crazy with the hacking, making ridiculously high HP cars, ruining the fun off hacking (mostly the little 10 years olds playing GT5). Wrong: hacking made the game fun alittle more. PD probably just lost 1/4 of their fans/followers for patching the hacking.

Maggbot timeout!
One big issue hardly anybody seems to mention.

What if the manufacturers complained? PD got licenses for using every car model.
With GT6 on the way, you don't know what manufacturers think about this hybrid thingy and the "real driving simulator" PD is selling.

Just a thought.

But we all knew it would end one day, so that day is here. Life goes on.. Smile
