I'm trying to add a turbo to hackable vehicles as a method to up the HP/TQ instead of the FFFFFFF at the turbo on garage editor. I ran with some guys running UGR Lambos with added turbo. One guy bragging how he had a turbo gauge and twin turbo set up, but they all claimed they were running a turbo said they were about at 1700HP. If you could let me know or lead in the right direction it would be greatly greatly appreciated. Is it as easy as swapping turbo codes from 1 car and putting them to a lambo or another vehicle or is it a little more complicated?.

no, you don't need to downgrade but you get that message when you try to mod on a 'old' save.
try this; start up GT5, save game, copy that save to USB-key and try to open that 'new' save with garage editor.

the save file is brand new and since I can connect to the internet it should be the latest version.. I got the save file from here because it had all cars in it I don't know if that is the problem?..

that save works on your PS3? i mean; did you open garage or did something else with that save? i'm just trying to find what went wrong.
that save has to have your accountID.

if you downloaded it and try to mod that save, it wont work.
when you install that save on your PS3, start GT5 and save your game. now that save will have your accountID.

I'm using that save for many weeks now it's the latest version with my account id on it..I've tried both my laptop and desktop I'm getting exact same message.

When using garage editor do NOT select the car you want to modify before you save and load to usb select another random car then in garage editor select the car you want to modify the effects will work then. To get realistic hp I just install the ECU that brings power down to more reasonable levels.to keep your vehicles same RPM/Powerband experiment with installing the LSD before and after. Few minutes ago I made a g35 sedan with 520hp and 557 ft lbs of torque similar to a supercharged numbers to a supercharged 350z VQ35. Now the g35 keeps up with 350/370z also Evo/Wrx. Next im making a Subaru legacy 3.0R see what kind of numbers the 3.0l Subaru v6 will make.Also going to mess around with my BMWs

the save is fine it works everywhere except for the garage editor...

friend of mine got a Gallardo with working turbo gauge and all, running 1.4k HP I'm trying to figure out how was this possible.

Would you share how to when you found out?
