One of my cars that bounces has a swapped gearbox, yeah. But I also have a car with a swapped gearbox that doesn't bounce. But thank you.

Btw, does anyone know how to do a gearbox swap ? Tried on a R32 GT-R, 205 T16, and even a kart but none worked, always had a bouncing car :/

Check what code you have on "slamming" location. If it's something like 5A or so. Change them both to 4B 4B and check if it still jumping.

Still bouncing, guess i'm not even doing the gearbox swap correctly :/

(changing FF to 74 with HxD, then doing engine swaps and others in Garage Editor 1.5)

Just change original suspension and take car on track after that just change back to adjustable :y:

Yeah guys I've been doing some investigating, doesn't matter what your suspension is set at, the bouncing has nothing to do with the car it's self, it's just a glitch that comes with some gearbox swaps. I always do gearbox swaps the same way, and some work, some don't. I just avoid it now.

Tell me some setup where the car is bouncing, I'll check if I can stop it from doing that.

Works for cars that have original suspension and fully custom suspensions, but the gearbox is still the original one. :/

Hiya, well I swapped a ZR1 (new one) engine into a Miata / MX5, and the ZR1 gearbox. It was bouncing.
Then I tried a Z06 engine in the Miata / MX5, no gearbox, stopped bouncing.
I know I should have tried the ZR1 engine on it's own instead of the Z06 but I was getting impatient :p
