For those of you that don't know .ELF files are what they mod for example Call of Duty XP lobbies and other games. You can essentially make XP lobbies for GT 5.

You talkin to me?
I've never been able to connect to GT servers with a debug eboot. Have you ??
Maybe I did something stupid.

I had an app made, that could hybrid a vehicle on track but my HDD crashed before I could put the final touches on it.
I might re-make it in early september.

I was able to on the first modded PS3 I had but when I was upgrading the hard drive I accidentally left a disc in the drive and it upgraded to OFW... I just got a modded PS3 again yesterday and for some reason it won't load GT 5 I keep getting a black screen. But Black Ops II was doing that for me too and it turned out it was just a dirty disc so hopefully that's all it is. I'll try in an hour or so.

Yeah the main reason I want to RTM on GT 5 is to edit cars on track or at least without having to get off the game every time and I want to try to get the .ELF modded to make XP and Money lobbies for those that don't use modding tools. I don't know much about modding .ELF's though so I posted it up for those that may have an idea of what to do. Maybe something will come from it.

Yes it is. It's no use to those that don't know HxD and IDA Pro and don't have a CFW.

Cool, check mark on all the things required I even have the IDA Pro PS3 plug-ins, the one of many problems I'm having is to get the plug-ins installed in the correct place. Other then that modding it with the ProDG route leaves me with no idea what to enter where in the debugger program. The processes seems to be attached but I'm lost about the offsets.

Yeah finding offsets and entering commands is where I get lost myself that's why I posted this up in the hopes that someone with a better idea of modding it would find some use for it.

So I've wandered around the .ELF file for a few hours in IDA and almost nothing I've found links to a Float value of any sort which throws me of because I have no clue what to change or how to read PowerPC language. Maybe we can use IDA to find the Hex offsets in the debugger though, I'm not positive how they correlate to each other.
