It is about time this thingy came to life! We all know the OCD is buggy due to bad coding of PD! Winky Winky
So, here is your ultimate solution......

There are 3 things you can do with this tool.

1) You can reset the current UCD/OCD "bought" status. (greyed out will be gone)
2) You can set the UCD/OCD to be permanent available (it will never ever be greyed out)
3) You can restore the UCD/OCD in its original state (non-permanent status)

It worked on our tests, but always make sure to make a regular backup Smile
This feature will also be integrated in the new GT5 Editor and Hybrid creator.

Please report any issue Happy

It's only 26kb (77kb zipped incl required programs), but can save a lot of trouble!

Thanks mate, yeah never know what gets added in the future.
Currently busy with 1.5b, added the UCD fixer and will probably integrate the TUTT also Smile

And when people got cool things (not just ideas) then......

Cheers

Hey,

Thanks mate!
Yeah that museum card remover has definitely no eta, it is a pain in the butt.
But it's been looked at and we haven't given up yet :P

It's been a wish-come-true for me for a long time, as it's partially killing my main account.

Cheers

Luca: As always, appreciate the efforts you and the rest of the team put into creating these great tools, but maybe I'm missing something here with this one. What is the real benefit of this tool? Ok, you go to the UCD and buy a car. It gets greyed out and car is no longer available. With this tool, you can make it so its not greyed out and you can buy the same car in the same color with the same miles, ect. What is the benefit? I'm not putting down your tool at all, just trying to understand the benefit of it. Maybe I'm just being a dumbass here and missing something, lol. No comment from you JK, lol.

In closing here, if you guys really want to impress me, how about being able to put any rims on any car we like? Now that, to me anyway, would be the ultimate breakthrough. Maybe an "enable all rims" button. Yea, I know this can't be done because the rims are tied to the chassis, at least that's what I've been told, but there has to be a way damnit, lol.

Hey,

Well, asking is never a problem. But every idea comes from somewhere.
So..

I can remember quite recently people had issues while buying 1 car and others got greyed out as well (PD bug).
So not giving them the opportunity to buy the other car anymore. This thead was on our beloved GTP, I think Q&A part Winky Winky

That was one reason.

Some tuners like to have multiple of the same car, with different tunes or different colors etc.
Certain upgrades are permanent, for setup A, B and C. Waiting for another car of the same model to show up again can take ages Winky Winky

That was another reason.

Of course, there are other ways, Slim355 made that available with the Garage Editor to get the same car multiple times.
But not everybody is fond of using these rather advanced editing/hybrid tools.
So this small "fix" can help some or maybe many people reaching their goal within GT5.
It took only a small amount of time to extract details about this UCD and the coding was done within 1 hour.
So, taking that in account, we wanted it. If nobody needs it, fine too! But it is available to be used Smile

About your wish for rims, we'll never release any tool that requires to CFW your PS3 to have that benefit.
We don't like to push people into taking the risk of bricking their PS3 or getting banned.....

But for everything there is a solution, as soon as you supply us with all in-game car chassis sizes and the available rims for each chassis.
I'm willing to write a tool which give you the option to select a perfect matching chassis (swap) for your car with the wanted rims.

How does that sound? Smile

Cheers and have a nice day!

I get the idea that you did not take kindly to my post. I was not putting down your tool at all, just trying to understand the usefulness of it, that's all. I'm sorry if it offended you in anyway. As for the greying out problem, that was/is happening in the OCD. You buy a car from the top left, and the car at the bottom left would also become greyed out. I was not aware that anything of that sort was happening in the UCD. I have never experienced that anyway. I'm not sure if we can post links here, so I won't, but if we are allowed to, I can give you the link where this was happening in the OCD and not the UCD. I've never seen a thread there with a problem like this happening in the UCD.

As for the rims thing, I'll pass. I was unaware of how much work it would take to have that option. My apploogies.
